Some call it the Car Spike, some call it the Car Kebab or the Spindle. Whatever you call it, this famous art sculpture was taken down in 2008 but has never left our hearts.
It was made up of 8 vehicles impaled by a 50 ft spike. The top car, a VW Bug, was owned by the artist, Dustin Shuler. Second from the top is a BMW that was donated by the man who commissioned the piece.
It was located in the car park of Cermak Plaza shopping center, at the corner of Cermak Road and Harlem Avenue in Berwyn, Illinois.
This shirt is a garment dyed heavyweight shirt. A truly vintage feel and oversized fit.
